The orthopedics and minimally invasive surgery clinic Ortomed - Alex Bucur proposes to implement new surgical procedures, especially in cervical and lumbar disk hernias, as well as joint disorders or traumas, highlighting the thorough experience of Dr. Gheorghe Craciun and his collaborators. These procedures mostly allow the keeping of tissue integrity and a quick recovery of the patients' work and sports related capacity. This does not exclude, if needed, the open surgery procedures in classic surgery, such as the treatment of congenital and acquired diformities of the limbs (i.e. hallux valgus, hammer toes), nerve decompressions etc.
The clinic is arranged on a 400 sm area, in the TEMCO building on 65-67 Republicii street, in Cluj Napoca and is divided into two departments:
-
ambulatory department with 3 medical offices, specialized on Orthopedics and Traumatology, Pediatric Orthopedics, Phlebology and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, functionally connected through the waiting room, where the electronic registration of patients is performed.
-
clinical/surgery department, with a completely endowed, state of the art surgery room, 3 medical wards with 2 beds each, for short term hospitalization, providing an exceptional comfort, each having private bathrooms, air conditioning, TV set, phone, internet connection etc. Endowed with monitoring stations, oxygen taps, the wards allow, if necessary, a thorough post-operatory surveillance.
