Dental Implant
The dental implant is a titanium piece, most often in the shape of a screw, which acts as a replacement for the root of a missing natural tooth. The insertion is performed after the healing of the extraction area or immediately after the extraction, through a rather simple surgical intervention, comparable to an extraction from the perspective of its aggressiveness.
After a period of time, necessary for its integration into the bone, another metallic piece is attached to the implant, called an inlay core, on which the doctor can put the crown, bridge or prosthesis, which will replace the missing tooth or teeth.
This field has recorded an accelerated progress in our country, during the last years, a progress which has generated an increase in the number of requests from the population, which has led to the development of this type of medical services.
